You guys are never gonna believe what happened!! I'm working away as usual on heygrapey, thinking how sad it is that I will never be able to use my rightful heygrape ID. (You remember my whine about a year ago about not being able to remember the password and Yahoo never answering my emails?)
Anyway, I think to myself, "heygrapey, let's take a break and just go and LOOK at the heygrape ID. At least nobody else can use it either" Then I say back to myself, "yeah, let's do dat! Let's go look at heygrape". So, off I trot to type in search seller heygrape. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!!!! Go ahead! GUESS!
heygrape is GONE! Kaput! Vanished! Not a registered user!
I say to myself, "No Way!" But just in case I think to myself, "myself? Go and try to register under heygrape and see if it's taken. It should say taken because I took it a year ago and have never been able to use it." Myself says back, "otay!" And GUESS WHAT HAPPENED! Go ahead! GUESS!
I GOT IT! I got heygrape!!
I say to myself, "myself? Good Gawd! I wonder how long that was sitting there vacant just waiting for someone to snatch it and ruin my good name! Sheesh" Myself then answered back, "No Sh*t Dick Tracy!"
Well, I'm now a Happy Grape Camper listing under heygrapey AND heygrape!
I'm very happy to hear that! I'm also glad you had the impulse to check. I've heard that it's good to listen to your instincts, & I think it's usually true that you should.
OT- I went to register a second ID today to split my listings up a bit. ALL the IDs I wanted were already taken. Well, I decided to have a look at what those sellers were selling, because I thought they'd probably have some really cool goodies. As it turns out, they were ALL rated (new). ALL OF THEM!!!!!!! Do you know how annoyed I was about that? GRRRR. Someone out there is hoarding IDs!
My point being that I was doubly glad to read your post, Grapey. Hopefully those IDs will eventually turn over again after awhile. Too late to help me, but it will probably happen just in time to help some competing seller who needs a cooler ID than my new one..LOL..
