Hi there everyone!! No, I am not new to Yahoo auctions, just a newcomer to Auctionwatch! (Cool place by the way!!! I am a fellow "friendly" seller, but just recently I have noticed the featured auctions on Yahoo's home page. My question is, "Are those randomly picked by Yahoo or do you have to pay for that?" That's it- just 1 simple question. Any feedback about this would be GREAT! Thanks all!!! YAHOO #1!!! ~Bigbearski

I'm pretty sure they just radomly
pick some. I've never seen any
options to pay for it. Everything
else is free on Yahoo so I don't
see why this would be any different. I think it's just a
matter of luck of the draw.

I've sent e-mails several times to Yahoo to find out how they are selected. Thus far, the responses I have gotten are canned and do not even come near answering my question. So, I do not know the answer to your question, but I do know that if you ask Yahoo they don't know either.

Have you ever gotten anything other than canned responses from their support?
I tried 3 times, each time clearly stating that the last infobot response had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my question, and restated the question in more detail. --- Each time I got another infobot reply. Methinks the wizard of oz is behind this clumsy machine of yahooligans.
