For those who have posted recently about deadbeat bidders, just thought I would let you know that the home page for Yahoo! Auctions has a link where you can give your opinion of whether Yahoo! should require credit cards to bid on the auctions. You might want to go and express your opinion where it really counts.

REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU ARE BEING TOLD FROM YAHOO, THE CREDIT CARD REQUIREMENT WILL NOT STOP DEADBEATS. WHAT IT WILL DO IS LOOSE YOU THE SELLER SOME VALUABLE BIDS. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL ON YAHOO BUT I WILL NOT GIVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER,SO I CAN NOT SELL. I SOMETIMES BID ON THINGS ON YAHOO BUT IF THE CREDIT CARD RULE IS IN PLACE I WILL NOT. AM I A DEADBEAT? GET ON EBAY AND LOOK AT THE FEEDBACK FOR PHOTOMAN! . YOU DECEIDE. YAHOO IS ALREADY MISSING A LOT OF GOOD HONEST SELLERS THAT EITHER DON'T HAVE OR WILL NOT GIVE OUT THERE CREDIT CARD NUMBERS. THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO VERIFY WHO SOMEONE IS BUT FOR SOME REASON YAHOO WANTS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. MAYBE THEY JUST DON'T NEED THE BUSINESS.
