Has anyone else had to erase closed auctions in order to use the bulk loader. I kept getting an error message saying that I was over my new allowed total for auction submits. It said I could erase closed auctions to get under the limit. I did, and it worked. This makes no sense to me, nothing I've read on Yahoo or these boards has mentioned closed auctions stored on Yahoo being counted off the total. Can any one shed some light?

"The total of your active auctions and the closed auctions on your closed auctions page cannot exceed 2900. if it does, you can't submit any more until you wipe some of your closed auctions off the computer."--from another thread.

ON THE SAME VEIN - Personally, I don't use the Yahoo Bulk Loader, as I find it tedious and cumbersome.
I do like the AW system, except there is still a problem with the thumbnail picture getting in the correct place, so I don't use it either.
I did get a mailing this morning that Auction Submit has a new program that will work with Yahoo, you might try it and see if you can bulk load via their system.
I have not tried their system, so have no idea how well it works, but it might be a substitute for the limitations caused by the Yahoo Bulk Loader, and the picture problem of AW.

I would like to know more about the Auction Submit bulk loader. Anybody tried it for yahoo? (And this after I copied over 500 auctions into the AW bulk loader!!!! I must be crazy ) I'm selling books and the thumb print photos sure would come in handy. Almost all of my auctions have photos, but none of them show up in the thumb prints; you have to click on the auction itself in order to see the book.

I'm answering my own question. This is a copy from their web site: Does the Auction Submit Yahoo module support all Yahoo Auction functions?
At this time the module is designed to bring the additional functionality of submitting
listings to Yahoo auctions, rotating listings from other auctions to Yahoo, or rotating
auctions from Yahoo to other sites. The Yahoo module supports almost all functions on
Yahoo, but at this time will not support the paid upgrade features, such as eAppraisals,
featured auctions, bold print, gift icons or the "additional options" such as restrictions on
bidder ratings, auto resubmit, or a "buy price" setting.
Why doesn't my picture show up as a thumbnail in the Yahoo index or picture
galleries?
All of your pictures will be displayed on your listing page and you will get a picture icon in
the indexes. Yahoo only displays thumbnails of pictures that are hosted on the Yahoo
server and at this time Auction Submit will not upload your picture to the Yahoo server.
