Can any experienced yahoo sellers tell me which months are the busiest and which are the least busy. maybe give the order of the most busy month to the least busy month and if possible the percentage of how busy each month is to the others......thanks.....Patrick

yahoo really has no busy months per say but if I had to give month it would be sept oct november that is based on last year any how.

mainly you cant look at yahoo the way people look at ebay look slow month busy months.

yahoo very different, think of yahoo as a big roller coaster each month.

weekly and monthly starts at the bottom on friday night and builds to the top by wensday and heads back down. if you list 5 auctions on a Monday and have no bids by 11PM thursday you more then likely wont have none for that week.I have had only two bids and never a win on a weekend for some reason.

monthly is the same thing you start on the bottom in the frist week of a month slowly up till its on top just mid the third week then drops off fast.

on fifth weeks you will have about two and a half weeks with little to no sales.

all this depends on what you sell if you have two to four niche markets you might do better over all but this is how yahoo works.

even in the summer when some people on ebay gave up due to a lack of fair bidding or listed less cause there wins werent paying for the listings even I was getting sales on yahoo.

some people might tell you im wrong for them weekend are there best time for bids and the begining of the month is the best time but remember when my sales are down someone elses are up bidding never stop in online auctions it migrates from one area to another.

no one can be in every catagory every week, and most dont even try they find the niche that works best for them and stick to it.

a good rotation would be to list it free on yahoo for your 3 weeks if it dont sell there send it to ebay for two weeks usually it will sell but if not take it off the boards for a month and start over again.

Last year Sept was great! This year it is dead in the water.

So....Who knows???
