Okay let me see if I can get this image to show here. This is a banner I made for my Yahoo auctions. YOu may use it if you like, but Do NOT link to it because I will be moving the banner in the next few days and then all you will get is an x where the banner is suppose to be if you right click on it you can download the image if you want to
Well here I go I am going to give it a shot
Again <B>DO NOT</B> link to this page because I will be moving it

Okay here is another banner it should be in all the rules of ebay. They don't give you a lot of room to work . . . I didn't animate it because I don't know how many loops etc... they allow and the time wrap but I know they regulate it. I don't want to give them any reason hassle anyone. Have a good evening
BTW I will be moving this one also in a few days so don't link to the image itself download it and then upload it to use it. If you link to the img view where it is now you will just wind up with a big X on there in a few days. Thanks

Hey grape well let's see if the Html comes through okay to do a link. You need to do the following crossing my fingers . . . hope it helps (I didn't put the link right in from the start because we aren't allowed to here an AW I don't think)
<
A HREF="PUT PAYDIRECTS ADDRESS HERE"><IMG SRC="WHERE YOU WILL BE STORING YOU PICTURE HERE"
WIDTH="468" HEIGHT="60"></A>
No one wants to put a link to it in your ebay auctions the picture (banner) is fine and within regulations but if you add a link to it in ebay that would be a violation of the regulations on ebay because it would take you to yahoo's site.
Cagrrl I Rock hey I like that I will be sure to tell the sixteen year old that works for me <LOL> He just doesn't get the 60's music, Joplin, Blood sweat and tears, Clappton, it is for old people : (
Heygrape I don't want to sound forward or pushy here but you may want to delete the address in your message here of where you are storing the pic (and maybe even change it). If other people link to it you may get a strong hit on Baud rate and your server may complain many but not all servers limit baud rate. Just mentioning it incase you haven't thought of that. That is why I am telling people that I will be moving these banners in a few days , week or so something like that so they don't attach (link) right to it causing a high hike in my baud rate at tripod and why I didn't place them on the space I pay for. (tripod is free) Anyway you may have already thought of that but baud rate my not be a concern. There is the potential of a lot of people linking to it though.

Hi Tracy!
Really cool banner!
I uploaded the flashy one directly to one of my Yahoo adds and it worked good!
The small banner I had to go into photo deluxe and chage it to jpeg and it also worked fine! Loaded both of them in AmPro with no hitches!
Never even had to figure your html! Really cool!
I also believe being a payment service we should be able to link from our "about me page" on E-bay! I have had a "Yahoo" link there for over two years now! Just do not link directly to any of my on going auctions on Yahoo!
Thanks again and they will be in my E-Bay adds! Had one customer pay from there already!

That's a great banner..thanks much.
ebay allows us to put other payment service logos's with links, into our auction listings, shouldn't we then be able to use the small Pay Direct banner with a link to the Pay Direct page...after all...we aren't linking to Y's auction site or our auctions on Y! If I am wrong about this, please correct me.

Today I'm changing all my Paypal banner links to PayDirect banner links. Not mentioning Paypal in any of my auctions anymore so that hopefully Paypal payments will stay under the $500 per 6 month limit.
Paypal = ewwwwwwww!

Hey grape many will be right behind you I was going to take these banners down but I got a couple lurkers that e-mailed me that are putting them up on their aucitons and ditching paypal. So, I will keep them up for a little while longer in case anyone else wants to download them and use them. 500 is not very much for 6 months. I have been using paydirect for a few weeks now and I simply tell the people in my E-mail that Paypal went to a charge system and this lets me keep my costs down for them to use paydirect.
Here is what I put in the e-mail
Visa Master Card taken by Yahoo! PayDirect a service that lets you send or receive money online from an account you fund with your credit card or checking account(free service). Yahoo paydirect linK I have hear. (Paypal is no longer free to sellers (starting October 1st) and I don't want to pass on the extra cost as paypal had suggest to some sellers, so I am trying PayDirect a free service)
Here is what I put in my auctions and it seems to be working without a hitch. The buyers will follow where the sellers go if they know it is also to their benefit.
Here is what I put in the auction Pay <U>ONLINE with PAYDIRECT </U>. (the one on Ebay I just use the banner here on Yahoo I use the banner and the link directly to the Paydirect site here) Visa and Master Card taken by PayDirect a service that lets you send or receive money online safely from an account you fund with your credit card or checking account (free secured service). Link to be sent along in winning bid E-mail. (the last line I only use for Ebay.)
It seems to be working most of my sales are paid through paydirect now both on Ebay and Yahoo.

I just finished revising my ebay auctions. I'm using that wonderful small banner WITH the link! It's not a link to a competitive auction site to ebay, so it is not in violation.
Going to Yahoo now to start working on those. I don't care if it takes me days to get these auctions revised, I will not stop until I'm done! I'm on a quest.
Tracy, I appreciate what you've done for all of us sooooo much, I don't have the words to express my gratitude. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Anyone see the new stuff they added to Yahoo? I kind of glanced at it when I went to get some money but pushed the continue to fast. Looks like the addes confirmation of when sellers accepts payment etc. . . the buyers will like that and so do I.

thanks!! TracyG for all the help here. I have been struggling with PDirect and finally got a sec key code. Now, is it safe to assume that they just used my bank info I gave them when I signed on over a year ago?? I haven't a clue - if it is actually active right now. How in the heck do I find out?
Also, if we use the 3 image quota - HOW can we put the banner on our auctions? I asked in a separate posting about that but no ans yet...As for clicking on "options" on top right to enable YPD - it just brings you back to applying for it. I thought there was a button where it automatically showed on your page??
I can't say I'm impressed with Yahoo service on any of this ---
Think of the money Yahoo loses simply because their site is so hard to navigate....I love the auction listing s/ware but this other stuff is a nightmare. Without nice folks like you and others - we'd be sink or swim here. Kudos to you all

ioughta -
Go to http://paydirect.yahoo.com, log into your account (if necessary) and click on PayDirect Options in the upper right hand corner. This will show you all of your current account information including bank accounts and allow you to edit any info necessary from that page. As far as the pic limit...I can't help on that one unless you combine a couple of your pictures into 1 to keep you under the 3 picture limit.
