Okay, I THINK I have this right, but Yahoo's Help area doesn't always read very specifically to me. I had my first transaction with Paydirect this week. How will I know WHEN it is transfered to my CC acount? It's showing in the PD area of mine. I've looked and so far, can't see anything that says I have to do anything to move the money out. Does it just happen, and "POOF" from that section? The first transaction went well. I liked that the bidder had the option to ask a question to verify it went to the correct person.

Hi carolann56 - it works like this:
you get a mail saying you have money. It is short and sweet with a link
click it, or got to Paydirect and you will see the payment and a link to "accept".
Click it, and there is a second screen - click "accept"
The next screen thanks you for using and says "what else can I do with Paydirect" and top of the list is "Move money".
Click it and you will see you balance at the top and two slots.
Put in the amount and select where you want to MOVE from (Paydirect acct. # XXXXXX) to your credit card or your checking acct. This is the same way to fund your acct. btw.

*LOL* YES it did.. THANK YOU VERY much VeryModern. I've read many of your postings. I can't believe I DUMBED out and didn't think of that. If I'd thought to pull down the menu, I'd have seen that. Like I said, the Help section In yahoo wasn't a lot of help either. Thanks
Carol

ya know Carol, I just happened to have a payment hangin' there like a loose tooth. I was able to go claim it and switch windows to report the happenings blow by blow.
posted on September 20, 2000 03:19:18 PM I had already claimed this one, but the way it read, the transfer would be immediate. ( *L* I know.... trust me, I wondered HOW) and looked at it sitting there and had even pulled up the MOVE menu. I just didn't THINK to pull down the choices to pick FROM Paydirect TO my CC. *LOL* You'd think I was a newbie at all this. SHEESH. It's been a long week. I'm glad I'm taking the next 4 days off.
