Had an auction that closed two weeks ago, received payment, sent package and then buyer claims he thought he was purchasing something totally different. The auction clearly states what the itmes are and also includes THREE PICTURES! Well of course this idiot demands a refund and in this case I said absolutely NO! So naturally he negs I revise his positive with a neg and then he here comes the good part. He claims he drives a truck and passes through my area frequently and will take extreme measures to settle this matter, violently that is. I have reported him to Yahoo and his service provider AOL. Will this get me anywhere? HELP!

I would make 3 more copies of all written-email
with this person... bring one of each to your Nearest Police Station. Just for the record. Then ask them for the Buyers nearest Police Station and mail them Certified Mail to whoever receives threats etc.
Good Luck.

If you mail him back his money do you expect to get your item back. You know there are people out there who are going to online auctions because they know they can scam the sellers real easy.
I would just block his e-mail ban him from bidding on your auctions & get on with life. Why let them get away with FREE goods.

I agree with gem10a1 and mballai. You have to take precautions in the event this person attempts to carry out such threats. Do not assume this is some sort of scam. There are many real unbalanced persons on the Internet.
I had one person trying to locate me, after I canceled his bid. He tried for months to bid under several new ID's trying to get my address and location. These people have to be taken seriously. Good luck!
