For a week or more it's been nearly impossible for me to use the Bulk Loader. I have Roadrunner so it should (and used to) be fast to upload. Now even the short .CSV file either times out or takes 5 minutes to upload. Zipping 100 pix is out of the question...always a timeout. I now zip 10 pix which means 15 uploads for a 150 auction Bulk load. And I spend all day uploading. Timeouts happen after 10 or 15 minutes most of the time. occasionally a 10 pix Zip will complete after 5 or more minutes.
I emailed Yahoo and got the same canned response I always get: It may be your computer, it may be your ISP and It may be Yahoo. If the problem persists, email us back with more specific info....
Why do I have to report a problem more than once? How much more specific can I get? The problem is not with my computer, nor with my ISP. I have pinged the route repeatedly and it gets through to Yahoo very quickly. And I have no speed problems with other sites.
I do have speed problems to other parts of yahoo Auctions. Almost all pages that should come up in a snap usually take 3 to 5 seconds. Isn't it great that yahoo is a Portal site....everything to everybody. or is it becomming nothing to nobody?
