I'm sure this has been asked and answered.
But the send buyer a bill function/
If you click it, does it auto send a bill
w/o giving you a chance to add shipping cost?

You can add shipping, however at least 1/2 the time it fails with the error "amounts do not match". It is more reliable to sign in Paydirect and do a "request payment" at the moment, this feature works very smoothly.

I have never had a problem using the "Send PayDirect Bill" function from the auction page and find it much easier than sending an invoice as everything, except the shipping charges, are integrated.

Hi Verymodern! I was afraid I was the only one getting that message. Any idea why? I get it about 1/2 the time also. I wrote to Yahoo but that was no help. Melanie

I used to send the YAHOO PAY DIRECT Billings at the end of each auction, AND a separate e-mail listing different ways to pay.
Now, on all of the YAHOO Pay Direct billings I sent that were not used, YAHOO is AUTOMATICALLY notifying the winner that I cancelled the billing notice (not true) and winner is to contact me as to the reason.
YAHOO's wonderful little notices used to only be sent to the winners notifying them that I cancelled their entire auctions, but lately, YAHOO has revised notices to tell winners I cancelled the notices, and YAHOO is also sending me a copy when they issue the notices. I immediately e-mail winners that I don't know why YAHOO is doing this, but I have e-mailed YAHOO. Most customers write back - Lots of Luck!
Even with the Change from cancelled auction to cancelled billing notice, this has upset a lot of customers who paid with PayPal or sent check or money orders.
I will not send a Pay Direct notice again until I hear this has been corrected.
When I sent the PayDirect notices, occasionally someone would use it, but apparently too many folks did not use Pay Direct and the notices have become a nightmare.
