I'm running a Dutch Auction for (2) items. I started them out at $6.95. Well, the bid is up to $8.40, but only (2) people have bid on it at (1) item each. If they are the only two people that have bid on it, why isn't the bid still $6.95? I hate Dutch Auctions! I can never figure them out!

From what I recollect, if one bidder bids a higher amount than the starting price then that amount is the one recorded. For example:
Bidder 1 bids $6.95 for one item
Bidder 2 bids $8.40 for one item
Highest bid is shown. Don't ask me why some buyers like bidding above the opening bid even though there are multiple items for sale.

I wouldn't worry about it--just charge them the final price. Next time, you might want to run the items one-at-a-time and let them bid against each other.
