Has anyone done this?

I tried to convert my ebay ratings to featured auction credits the other night and yahoo said it was done. When I try to log in and check I get an error ("Could not access db. Site temporarily down or bad userID" ). I have been getting this same error since I started selling on yahoo.

I have set up the wallet feature and paydirect so I should be able to access this.

Steps:

1. make the request on-line

2. receive e-mail from Yahoo (at least a couple of days later)

3. respond to the email from Yahoo

Be careful with the transfer of credits! I transfered my Ebay feedback in mid-October, jumped through all the right hoops, then listed 40 featured auctions. At the end of the month, I received a notice from Yahoo that I owed $93 and , until it was paid, would not be allowed to bid or sell further items on Yahoo. Now the selling "block" didn't bother me much as I had sold only 2 items in all that time...but the bidding thing AND the bill, really upset me. After 4 longdistance calls (on my nickle) it was learned that ,yes, I did have the credit in my wallet but there were system "glitches" that would take time to fix...Finally, the billing supervisor agreed to unblock my privileges even though I still have the outstanding bill (which I would not have had in the first place if I hadn't imported my feedback). they have promised to, eventually, credit me and stated that I will "still have more credits to use up". However, I think I will wait awhile to make sure...they also said that this "glitch" has affected many Ebay sellers. Comforting to know I wasn't alone!

My credits showed up in my wallet after a week or two. I did have to e-mail them twice, though. Only after I saw the credits did I start using them in order to feature my auctions. So far that hasn't changed my sales percentage, but what the heck!!!! I'm going to use up these crecits.....

Ditto - had to apply twice to get credit transferred, but FINALLY got it done.

Not really sure what I'll do with it since I don't feel featured items do any better than our standard postings. May try a few and test the "water."

I paid for a few about 6 months ago and saw no difference in sales - our sales are pretty steady, but will do some testing since it is free.

For us the problem is we only run 2 days auctions so this doesn't do much via a Feature since the auction isn't up long enough to be bothered.

How are YOU doing via Featured Auctions?
