Has there any discussion on this topic? It seems a little silly to restrict the title in AuctionPro to 45 characters when YAHOO allows 80. Anybody else have a comment?

Yes I have seen a few discussion on this matter nothing has changed this is one of many reasons most launch yahoo auction right from yahoo.

when you use ampro you also dont get the thumb nail picture in the show photos only area.

Also ampro dont suport theams for yahoo or color tables .

TITLES are too important in a search, I wouldn't use any system which limited Yahoo titles.

I use Go-To and it doesn't limit the titles and we have been very happy with their service.

I agree 1000 percent. I used TO-Go, but their problem is no BULK upload of an EXCEL or ACCESS file. I signed on to AUCTION W ORKS just for that capability. I was VERY disappointed when I found out about the 45 character title limit. That makes this program UNUSABLE.

I guess I'll stick to the YAHOO bulk lister, which works great and them put everything in AUCTION TAMER to keep track of my closings and letter writings.

I like having more space available in the title but boy a "pet peeve" of mine is when someone has a title as "......not........."
where they place some key search words after the 'not' as to flag their auctions.

No doubt a tactic to get around any fraudlent listing but I think a poor one!

My two cents.

Don't you find AUCTION TAMER painfully slow? I have to shut it down and reboot it
all the time. It also scrambles all the fields in the bidders history.
