Oh gosh. Just started auctions and on my first (won) one, I was dancing around the "won" screen and clicked on "rate buyer". I saw that this was to leave feedback and backed out of it since I hadn't even contacted the buyer yet. What did I do? Have I just denied myself the ability to leave feedback about the buyer when the time actually comes to do it?
Also, I do not get an auction listing confirmation email (from Yahoo) for every auction I post. Will this cause a problem down the road and should I contact Yahoo about it? My auctions are all there - just didn't necessarily receive the listing confirmation.

Relax You didnt not give up your right to give this buyer feed back because you click the leave feed back link you will still be able to go back later.
the only link on winners you dont want to click is remove this will cancel the sale.
for now dont worry about not receiveing the comfermation letter from yahoo Just send your own end of auction letter to your winner.
remember to give them the title of the auction they won the Auction number, The price of there winning bid the ammount you need for shipping , tell them the forms of payment they can use to pay and your name and address and any other terms you have decided on.
later when things are settled with your sales take time to go to yahoo autions on the top right you will see a options link click there you will find a way to personalize your winner comfarmation letter and a all also check to see what your default email is some times yahoo will set your yahoo mail as defaut if this is the case your comfermation letter are in your yahoo mail you can change this too.
