I think I remember seeing threads here about Yahoo mail being really slow, but since I didn't use Yahoo mail until now I never really paid attention to the threads. Now that I'm using the service I'm wondering exactly how slow it is. Is it slow sending mail out, or retrieving incoming mail, or both? And how Slow exactly is it? hours slow? days slow? or does it vary?
I haven't had responses to 2 emails I've sent out through Yahoo mail and I'm wondering if the recipients are just not responding, or if they didn't get my mail, or if they did get my mail & have responded, but that I haven't got their response yet...

From my experience, Yahoo mail is just as fast and reliable as any ISP's or other web based e-mail services. The only problem I have experienced is the sometimes considerable delay of mail coming from Yahoo (EOA's, Q&A, Etc) which I believe is Yahoo's servers delays rather than their e-mail system.

I use it and like it, download into Eudora. It goes down now and then but never for long an no worse than anyone else. Features are great.
I hate that!!!!!!! LOL!
