If anyone is using Yahoo mail and POP server, be advised that every mail I have sent using Eudora and a Yahoo email address has went into oblivian for the last 2 1/2 days. It shows "SENT" but NO ONE got a mail from me...
Also note that if you are mailing someone with a Yahoo address, they probably think they have answered.

So this is why a friend of mine isn't sending me e mail. she is and I'm not getting.
Got to be a way around that, I need my e mail fix daily.

Very Modern
Very Odd - but nice to know. You are saying this is a glitch between Eudora and Yahoo? I use a Yahoo address just for junk mail so have no idea what actually comes in there, just delete all of it once a week. But have a friend who uses Eudora and I'll sure let them know about this glitch.

No, not between Eudora and Yahoo specifically. The problem *was* with Yahoo Pop server, all mail sent went into oblivion.
This happened with Eudora, Netscape, or Outlook Express. I know, I tried them all. The mail is beginning to either show up or bounce these last two days - this is mail sent on about the 15th. The problem is resolved now, but this situation existed for 2-3 days around the 15th.

I also use Yahoo mail with a number of other accounts as well. Because one server may be down while another may not be and because I need my mail (my wife says I am addicted), I use this strategy.
I set up an account at Bigfoot (http://www.bigfoot.com) and use their distribution list. This is free. It will distribute to five different addresses.
I have my server account from my local ISP as one of these accounts. I also set up an account at UREACH.com (http://www.ureach.com) for a free email, voicemail, fax, etc. on an 800 number. This account also pages me on my alpha-numeric pager when emails hit it. I also forward to my Juno account and can forward to any other account I might want to set up.
The purpose of this was made evident this weekend. I had a customer complain by email. If I had been using only my ISP account, I would NOT have gotten his complaint at all. I got it first at Ureach (with a page). I got it overnight at Juno. Like I said, I never got it at all at my local ISP address. My customer got the service he required rather than ignoring him.
