I listed a 10 day auction with a starting bid of $38 and a buy price of $44. One person placed one bid which brought the "Current Bid" price to $39. Now the auction has closed since its 10 days are up but it shows the bidder as the "winner" even thought it does not appear that the so called winner bid the buy price of $44.
I even got an email from Yahoo that says my "auction closed with winners".
Do you think the bidder actually bid my buy price??? I don't know what further questions to ask. What do I do?

The buyer is the winner of your auction! Buy Price only means that if a person wants the item right then, they will bid your BUY PRICE and the auction will end. However they are free to bid your opening bid, and if no one else bids that BUY PRICE, they have won! If you want to use the BUY PRICE I would suggest you start your bidding at the price you want and have the BUY PRICE the same as the asking, or start your bidding at whatever you would like and still have your buy price but put a reserve on it at the buy price. Hope this helps! Carol
