I'm just curious about the threads recently concerning these fraudsters. Has anyone reported it to PayDirect? If so, how did they respond? I just had my first request today, I know how to handle the request...just wondering if it is worth the extra time to notify PayDirect.

I reported and got a form letter back "will take proper action" but that does not mean nothing was done, just that they are not going to outline it for me.
I definitely think it is worth reporting. You may be saving someone a good deal of pain. I never did go back and see if the buyer I reported was suspended. I will if I get a chance.

If you have time to waste, go ahead. Paydirect doesnt care because they just charge it to the poor seller who gets stuck. A seller on yahoo found a paydirect customer who bought lots of stuff and charged everything back claiming unauthorized use of credit card. Paydirect refused to take any action except for charging it to the sellers. The seller had to track down the buyer himself and file a fraud charge. The buyer was eventually arrested and had to make restitution. Even a lousy service like Paypal would have at least suspended the buyer's account. This is why I don't recommend Paydirect. Yahoo still has to learn that human beings, not just computers, must get involved.
