How is the Gallery pricing determined? Is it by the number of actual listing that you insert the codein, or is it based on actual number of eBay listings?

Hello Marc,
The gallery imports all of your active listings over the course of the month. It won't matter how many auctions you place the gallery into (if you choose to do it manually) - as the gallery itself will still display all other listings currently active.
You will want to factor that in when choosing plans. Be sure to touch base with us if your volume is well over the currently listed plans.

If Vendio doesn't want to start losing any customers, they will include the gallery as a free service. If they don't do this, people will look to other places that do provide this as a free service.
Once you have people start using auction tools provided by other companies, they start to question their current service and pricing schemes, and consider changing Auction Management Service Providers.
This is perhaps the goal of the provider of the free gallery service. It's my opinion that Vendio keep up the competition and consider the pricing of their gallery service.

Hi. I don't think it is wise to assume nickstar was referring to poorly functioning knockoffs. Before Vendio had a gallery I used one of the free gallery services and it was wonderful. So wonderful, in fact, I gladly signed up for their paid gallery and when Vendio's gallery was finally introduced I was not even tempted to switch to Vendio even though I was using Vendio for listing and everything else. Their paid version even back then offered several features Vendio's still doesn't, and I would go back there in a heartbeat for just their gallery if Vendio's gallery turns out to be a hassle.
It is usually easier to do as much as possible in one place. So if Vendio offered a basic gallery that was free and a high tech features version that was by low cost subscription, Vendio would probably make it all up in a month from volume-item sellers who stumbled across SMIE nosing around the site for other tools--just like nickstar mentioned.

In regards to the "No Picture Available"..
Could it be possible that there just is no picture available for your example.
"People in glass houses should not throw stones."
Would you like me to show examples of how "well" this works?? Would you like me to post the exact provider of this "free" service so others can try it out for themselves to see if they do just get what they pay for? What is there to lose if they were to try it?
I understand you're merely trying to save the reputation of your company, but I will not stand to be mocked for voicing a legitimate opinion.

Hello nickstar,
Sorry for the confusion, we didn't mean to mock you at all and have passed along your comments for further review.
Note that to replace your current gallery with said knock-off company (where it appears as our example above) with the one Vendio actually created ourselves, it would run you an average of about 5 dollars a month.
If you have any other questions on how the gallery works please feel free to start a new thread. If you have additional feedback on vendio pricing or policies, please feel free to post that to the feedback forum.
Regards,
Christopher
