I like my gallery...but I would like to have more control over the photos that are displayed. I had to stop 2 store auctions this morning (2 baby slips when I want the baby dresses I have to be in the gallery). They are still there now and have been there for a week while the dresses do not seem to show. Is there any way to control what auctions I want displayed other than the store - auction choice?
When the gallery is setup to insert itself into your listings automatically, it wants to fill itself with 24 items to start. If the category the current item is within has 24 or more listings, the gallery will default to showing only items in this specific category, sorted in the order the items will close.
If however the current item does not have at least 24 listings within, the gallery tool will go back one subcategory level until it can locate at least 24 items to display. The gallery will simply go back one category level until it can fill itself with at least 24 items.
If you have less than 24 items active at the time the gallery is placed into your listings, it will then default to ‘all categories.’
Keeping in mind that these rules only apply to the time at which the gallery was added to the listings. If since the item went live more than 24 items had been added to that specific category, the gallery itself will still display the items within the category/subcategory it defaulted to at the time it was added to the listings.
