Is there a way to show listings in higher catagories rather than trying to fill the first 24 in that sub catagory? If I have an N Scale widgit I would like to show the various N Scale widgits I carry. If a customer looks at an auction or store item that is in N Scale-Other Manufatures and I have 24 widgits in Other Manufactures they will never automatically view my other items in N Scale. I would like the search to go up one catagory.
When the gallery is automatically inserted, and either the 'Marquee' or 'Basic' skin is selected, the gallery will detect the category of the item being viewed, and will display other items that you have for sale in the same (or closest-to-similar) category.
Currently, if you prefer to have the gallery open up on "All Categories" (this might be more optimal for sellers with a wide variety of items scattered across different top-level categories) the only way to ensure this happens is to manually insert the gallery code into your listings. To do this, set the Gallery preferences to "Do not automatically insert" and copy/paste the Gallery code that is displayed when you click the "Generate HTML code" link into your item description field. Please be sure to copy all HTML, and be very careful when you insert the code that you don't alter any pre-existing HTML in your listing's description area.
Unfortunately there isn't a way to get the gallery to display the same way it does now - except to jump back only one subcategory level.

Hello Christopher
Thank you for your quick response. Hopefully Vendio will be working towards usuing the Gallery in the way I mentioned.
Thanks again, Al
