I'm interested in setting up the auto-launch profiles but need a little guidance from anyone who's using this successfully... please! I would like one item listed on eBay at a time and when one is purchased, I don't want the next to list until 8pm that night.

I think I do this by choosing the Schedule-Quantity option then entering "1" in the Quantity on Market field. Then I suppose I choose 8pm for every day of the week and enter "1" in the # of listings field.

I tried this for a test auction and after launching the initial listing, it shows a pending listing for every day of the week. So what will happen if the item has not yet been purchased but there is a scheduled launch for that night? Will the system just cancel the pending launch if the listing is still active? All of the pending launches worry me just a little.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since Vendio's support is closed for the day.

Hello,

Your exactly correct, this is how you will set it up. You will always see that item pending to list, but it will simply cancel if there is an item already at market at the time its ready to be listed.

Just a couple more questions about some of the details:

1. Are the times in the Auto-Launch profiles Pacific?

2. When selecting the profile in the Auto-Launch tab of the Edit Inventory Items page... what happens if I select a profile under both the "Ebay Auction" and "Ebay Stores" fields? I mean how would I make sure that I have only 1 auction and 1 eBay store listing going at the same time? I'm thinking I would have to put "2" in the Quantity on Market field for the profile, but how does the system know to make sure there is only 1 of each: auction and store item?... the other way of looking at it is I only put "1" in the Quantity on Market field for the profile but then why would the system launch both an auction and a store listing... wouldn't that be 2 on the market?... I hope this makes sense....

Hello,

1. Yes, these are in eBay time (Pacific.)

2. The profiles are tracking the quantity at market for your auction items separate from your storefront items.

You will still set each profile to saying one at market, although the item itself will have a quantity of 2 at market across the 2 different venues you have profiles setup to manage.

Thanks so much...

Just to make sure I have this correct, when creating an inventory item, if I choose the same profile under both eBay auction and eBay store, then the system will look at each of them individually. So 1 auction will list AND 1 store item will list when I push the launch button... assuming my profile says to list 1 item. Is this correct?

That is correct.
