Lately my combined shipping hasn't been working. I combine shipping and give them a new shipping amount, but when they pay the shipping amount is the amount for one item only, and not the new amount I specified.
What am I doing wrong? I'm losing out on shipping costs as I don't want to ask for more in shipping after they have paid.
Combined shipping has always worked in the past. I don't think I've changed anything.
Do you have any examples where you combined the shipping together and it only charged them for one item?
Note that if you use the option labeled 'use this for the entire order' - it will only use this one shipping cost and ignore anything you have in the individual listings themselves.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I put in $2.95 or $3.00 for combined shipping, but only $1.95 came through, which is the shipping for the one item.
As far as I know I always choose "use this for entire order."
It looks like this was setup with a fixed cost to be used for the entire order, rather than allowing the costs to be calculated automatically. The fixed cost listed was for $1.95 :
