I am trying to decide which sales manager plan would be better for me to use before I get started adding my inventory. I saw a post on one of these message boards a few days ago concerning the use of SM Inventoy Edition with SMPro, but now I can't find it (it sure would be nice to have a "search" feature on the boards).
I will be listing a few hundred items in the upcoming weeks. I need to have the option of being able to track multiple quantities of the items and listing them to eBay, eBay stores and a vendio store. However, I believe that I read that SMPro does not work with SM Inventory Edition.
SMPro is just what I need, as I would like to be able to work off-line while setting up my inventory items.
I thought about switching my account to SM Merchanising Edition and then switching back after I upload my items from SMPro, but I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) that I will lost some of my inventory after changing back to Inventory Edition.
Soooooo............which plan do you think would work best for me? Any suggestions? Thank you so very much for your help and feedback!

Hello Rhonda,
The offline Sales Manager Pro is not intended for use with Sales Manager Inventory Edition. I have included a link to a recent post on this for your reference (this is likely the post you were looking for):
If you switch back from Sales Manager Inventory Edition, to Sales Manager Merchandising Edition, then you will lose inventory that was created in Sales Manager Inventory Edition. When switching from Sales Manager Merchandising Edition to Sales Manager Inventory Edition, you have the option to import your exisiting inventory from your Merchandising Edition account. We do not recommend switching back and forth between the two editions.
You can also import inventory to Sales Manager Inventory Edition from a .csv file. This may be the best option for you, as you could work on the offline file and then upload it to your account. Please take a look at the .CSV Import User Guide, and let me know if you have any questions about this. It is located here: http://www.vendio.com/help/smie/SMIE_csv_import_User_Guide.pdf
You can download the .CSV template from "Sales Manager" --> "Import" --> "import from .csv file" --> "Click here to download the Vendio CSV template."
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions, or if you have any trouble with this.
