I've tried many times today, all unsuccessfully, to launch a couple of items, one of which is a simple relist. They all come up with this:

1. Error 240: The item cannot be listed or modified.
* The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy.

My account with Ebay is fine, etc. However, I did just open an Ebay Store between my last listings and now. I've updated the categories, etc. What's happening???

Hello,

eBay has been filtering out auctions again for listing payment methods that aren't accepted.

Check your listings for any references to being able to pay via Cash, BidPay or Western Union.

If you have listed any of these payment options in your ads, remove them prior to resubmitting.

No references to other payment methods, in fact I had that happen because of mentioning credit cards direct instead of through Paypal. Now I mention that I accept them but that's it but that should be OK unless they changed the rules again.

Here's the payment area on my TOS:

We accept Visa, MC and Discover directly. You may contact us for credit card purchases in person by phone (see Processing Methods).

Anything there that is causing the problem? I redid it to say we accept them and see processing methods for detail and that hasn't worked.

I doubt that was the reason you had difficulty listing.

How was the problem solved?
