Hello. This afternoon I clicked on a relist in my closed auctions (Hot Lutterloh cruise wear patterns), edited it, saved it, re-edited, previewed it, re-saved it, and scheduled it for 10/28. The page sequence indicated the item had been relisted and scheduled appropriately for that date and time. It has been nearly 7 hours and it is still not in pending, I have no auctions running on ebay, no active auctions on vendio, and no items with launch errors in my Vendio error log.
This is the second time I have written about having this problem. The last time this happened it involved a group of 8 or 9 advance scheduled relists, and it took until the next day for the relists to finally appear in pending. Please see also

Where are these auctions going? Shouldn't scheduled relists go into pending faster than this? Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? Thanks.

Is there anyone there to help with this?
It is now 10:55 CST and the item from 3:45 yesterday afternoon has appeared in pending since midnight last night when it was still absent. It is correctly scheduled but none of the listing edits I did and saved are attached to the item when I click on the title on the pending screen even though they were saved and previewed post-save before scheduling the relist.
Does the item have to be edited in inventory even if the item off the closed auction screen is put through the edit and save for launch process? Why did it take over 12 hours to arrive in pending and why are my edits gone?
I will go directly to inventory and change the master item also but I need to know why the edit process was disregarded by the program. There is a difference between the ability to work directly from inventory and having the program sense it is a relist and the requirement to do so. Thanks.
Did you try what I suggested in the thread that you referenced, when this happened yesterday? Did you try changing your view options yesterday? If you are viewing your pending listings on a Saturday, and they are scheduled for a Sunday, you will need to change the view options to view pending listings for "Next Week". Please let us know if you are having trouble changing your view options.
Please note that Sales Manager Inventory Edition will sense that it is a relist regardless of whether you list from your closed listings or your inventory. We highly recommend relisting through your inventory, and not through your closed listings. If a listing qualifies for an eBay relist credit, it will still receive this credit even if it is listed through inventory. Also, by listing from your closed section instead of your inventory, you risk having incorrect inventory data (such as your quantity on market).
An edit to a closed listing will not edit your inventory item. But if you edited the closed item and relisted the edit, then the edited information should have appeared on the new listing. Could you please provide an example of an edit that you made to this closed listing, that did not carry through to the preview of the item (or the live listing)?

Hello. Thank you very much. I misunderstood previously that in SMIE relisting from inventory was a requirement, not just an option of convenience.
Example per your request: The one item I have in pending now is the one I referenced. I ticked the item selection box and relist button on the closed auctions screen, and made 4 edits: changing it from a regular auction to a fixed price auction, edited a different amount for the price, added a statement to the description that shipping and delivery confirmation would be included in the fixed bid price, and changed the shipping information to custom choice of $0.00 Free Priority and Tracking. I saved these edits, previewed (the changes were present on the preview), saved the changes, previewed again as a double check (the changes were still present) and scheduled it.
When I clicked on the title in pending this morning and checked the tabbed screens, none of the edits were attached to the item. I have since made those 4 edits to the inventory item and the edits are now also appearing attached to the item in pending. Apparently if the inventory item data differs from the edits at relist the relisted item edits are overridden by the inventory data. Not a problem--I can relist from inventory.
Question--Does the program detect that an item qualifies for relist from its ebay number or from the location on the closed auction screen? For instance, if I relist from inventory will I still receive ebay relist credit if the item has already been archived at Vendio?
Thanks for your help.
If the listing qualifies for an eBay relist credit, and it is listed through inventory (in SMIE), then it will be sent to eBay as a relist. It doesn't matter where the listing is in Vendio (it can be archived), it will still be sent to eBay as a relist.
