I keep getting the error "Error 10068: Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time.
Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time."

I have stopped using Paypal and have removed the option as well as the email address from my payment options. Is there another place where the Paypal info is stored? Can you check out my account and let me know what changes I need to make? Vendio wont list the items since I am getting this error message.

Thanks

Hello,

If this happens, items will error on launch until the account is cleared through eBay's API. This can take up to 48 hours after the account is cleared by Paypal. You may be able to launch new items before the account is cleared through eBay's API by removing the Paypal ID from your preferences, however, items that have already been created and saved will continue to fail on launch until the API is cleared (the API is the "back door" that eBay provides for third-party companies to allow launching to their website.)

NOTE: You will continue to receive this error after disabling Paypal as a payment option on Vendio if you do not also adjust your eBay preferences. You will need to uncheck the 'automatically accept Paypal for all auctions' option on eBay in addition to adjusting your settings on Vendio. You will also need to remove all text references to Paypal from your listings.

Please let us know if you continue to have trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan

Thanks for the quick response. I have made the changes in my Vendio account and my eBay account. My Paypal account was limited due to a fraudulant payment that I received and I still want to list items but not accept Paypal until this issue has been cleared up. Will it still clear ebays API if it is limited or do I have to close the account all together?

Hello,

Basically, if you can list with your PayPal account through eBay, then it should clear the API within 48 hours, and you should be able to list through Vendio as well.

Regards,
Nathan

OK i was able to get a few items listed. However even though I made the changes to NOT accept Paypal. It still shows that I accept payments by Paypal on eBay and in my payment instructions. The item number is 300040744244. Can you check it out for me and let me know how to rid of these paypal references?

Hello,

I was able to locate two references to PayPal in this listing (other than where you stated you do not accept it at this time). I was also able to locate these references in your inventory item. You will need to edit this inventory item (and probably your other inventory items as well) in the following locations:

1. "Site Specifics" tab --> "Checkout" --> "Payment Instructions & Return Policy".
2. "Payment & Shipping" tab --> "Payment" --> "Payment Types Accepted".

Regards,
Nathan
