If I change the shipping charges on an item (such as from free shipping to being charged for) why is that the auctions ending before the change are still affected by the change? i have had a few auctions where I have changed it to a shipping charge from free shipping and the customer has tried to pay after the change and is being charged for shipping.

Hello again,
Not sure what you mean, any global shipping changes made after you list an auction will not effect those items already live. It will only be applied to your newly created listings.

Ok maybe I can explain this better. I had a video game that was for a long time with FREE shipping. Sales started to drop so I changed it to 5.00 shipping. I had a customer that bought this item before the change was made but tried to pay after the change and was being charged for shipping charges. It is very confusing but I finally figured out that is what is going on. Their auction was stating FREE shipping but when they were paying it was trying to charge them the 5.00 for shipping.
