I am wondering if I am being charged for a BIN service or not.

I love your community assistance. You have been amazingly helpful all along!

What is the reason for listing starting bid price and a BIN together?

Can this actually still grow in auction bidding wars when there are both BIN and starting prices listed? I am somewhat confused by this.

My hope was to allow folks to buy something faster than then allotted 7 day auction which is why I chose to list it both ways.

Hello Ann,

Ebay does charge an additional fee for buy it now being added to your listings. You can verify this by ebay previewing your listing before launching.

I really don't have an answer for why customers would use this technique. I suppose it's just a way for them to ensure that they obtain the minimum amount for a specific item. If the customer sees that the BIN price is reasonable, perhaps they will buy it faster that way.
