We have had a few customers have problems when go to Paypal form the checkout. They get and error message missing information.
With some trying different things I found it’s that there is not a phone number in the checkout for the customer. Is this from some changes that Paypal or EBay made?
If this is a change that was made can the phone field in the checkout be made required so people do not get these errors?
We have heard from a couple of other customers that are having a similar issue, and I have escalated this issue to our engineers as a high priority issue. In the meantime you should be able to workaround the issue by having your customer enter a phone number into the phone number field. You should also be able to do this for your customer, if needed, by editing the checkout. You should be able to enter any number into this field if necessary (such as 555-555-5555). We will update this thread as soon as there is more information available.

I did that and it gave me an invalid area code, does not match record. Or something like that but it did give me the Paypal log in then and look like it would let me pay.

My customers were getting the data missing error, now customers are saying it just doesn't bring them to paypal. I have many customers calling and emailing and I am having them pay directly through paypal, but many are just not paying.
