I have been having a problem for several weeks. I have all my auctions on relist. When one sells I thought it cancelled automatic relist so I have been relisting them manually. Sometimes though they also get relisted automatically so I have multiple auctions running of the same item which I don't want to happen. Its costing me ebay fees. I can't find the auto-relist instructions/rules anywhere. What am I doing wrong? Can you tell me exactly how auto-relist works? Thanks.

Just a note to other customers who are reading this forum, please note that this question is for Sales Manager Merchandising Edition (not Inventory Edition).
If an item sells then it should not be automatically relisted. Do you have a listing number as an example, where this has happened, so that we can take a look?
To disable the automatic relist function, take the following steps:
-Click the "All Active" link in the left navigation bar in Sales Manager.
-Click the check-box next to the items you wish to disable, and select the "Set Auto-Relist" button.
-Click the down-arrow key under the "Times to Relist" column. Select the blank line (top entry in the menu.)
-Click the "Submit" button. You will not see a confirmation, but the circular auto-relist icon will be removed from the Sales Manager list if you successfully disabled the function.
You may also refer to the following location for some of our FAQs about auto-relist:

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns about this.
Regards,
Nathan

A set of 25 stickers sold so I manually relisted it, it ends tonight and is item 170096801907, for some reason it auto-relisted last night as item 170098735288. So it is now running as two seperate auctions against my wishes. Originally I thought this may have been human error but I have been paying very close attention to avoid this.

I am showing that item "170098735288" was auto-relisted from unsold item "170096426681". So it does appear that the auto-relist is working correctly in this case.

so where did 170096426681 come from? I sold it as item 170094478438 and thats when the problem started.

Listing "170096426681" was listed (it does not appear to have been relisted from any listing) on 2007-03-28 at 16:45:21 and ended unsold on 2007-04-04 at 16:45:21.
Listing "170094478438" was listed on 2007-03-22 at 18:48:09 and ended sold on 2007-03-28 at 08:57:25.
What is wrong with listing "170097734037"? I don't see any previous reference to this listing. Listing "170097734037" was listed on 2007-04-01 at 17:08:22 and is scheduled to close on 2007-04-08 at 17:08:22. It is currently scheduled to auto-relist. It was relisted from listing number "170095425525". Listing number "170095425525" was listed on 007-03-25 at 17:00:58 and closed unsold on 2007-04-01 at 17:00:58.
Listing "170097734038" was listed on 2007-04-01 at 17:08:22. It was relisted from listing "170095425765". Listing "170095425765" was listed on 2007-03-25 at 17:01:34 and closed unsold on 2007-04-01 at 17:01:34.
Please do provide a listing number that sold, yet was auto-relisted anyway.

It seems to me this is the problem. You have proven it. Some of those listings were sold that you said are coming up unsold. If an item is sold on buy-it-now is it possible its being read as unsold and then relisted on the date it was originally supposed to end? This is very frustrating as I have over 500 auctions running and am looking at other options. Thanks.

They aren't coming up....that is the problem. They are just re-listing. I'm not having problems with things showing up unsold that were sold. I'm having things relisted that shouldn't be. All I can do is tell you the problem. I wish I could fix it. I'll ask again, is it possible somehow the Buy-It-Now is being confused as either an ended action that gets relisted right away or possibly gets relisted when the auction was originally supposed to end? Two seperate times in this thread Nathan referenced items that he said 'were original' or created but those were relisted through Vendio. Like when he said "What is wrong with listing "170097734037"? I don't see any previous reference to this listing" That was a relist by Vendio!
Sorry edited multiple times mainly for spelling.

When I said that I did not see any previous reference to listing "170097734037", I meant that I did not see any previous reference to that listing in this message board thread. I was unsure what problem you were having with that particular listing. Note that I provided the information of where and when the listing was listed immediately after asking that question.
Yesterday you stated "Some of those listings were sold that you said are coming up unsold". Please let us know one of the listing numbers where this happened, so that we can take a look.
