When I try to edit checkout, I get the following message at the top of the page. Warning: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution in /var/www/lib/php/shipping/calc_shipping.inc on line 193

This may be related to a short networking issue that we saw this morning. Try editing the checkout for this item again and let us know if you continue to run into the error mentioned. (it should have only appeared for a few minutes around the time you posted.)
