This is an eBay store item. It sold an hour ago. It will not move to post sale. I have refreshed a zillion times.

Someone else posted about having this same problem today. Are we having issues?

It has now been over 1 hour since the purchase was made. My customer can't checkout because Vendio is not recognizing the sale!!!!

The store purchase moved over to post sale, but, it took 2 hours to do this. All the while, my customer was "trying" to checkout.

On another note: I received feedback this afternoon and that did not update automatically either. I had to manually check off that feedback had been received.

Again, are we having "issues"?

Hello,

I am not aware of any issues today that would have caused slowness with items moving, or feedback not working properly. What is the item number where you had feedback issues?

Regards,

Sonya

5535724875 was the item number. I manually checked it as having received feedback.

I'm finding more and more areas where Vendio is not updating.

I had to send an eBay invoice for the item that wasn't moving to post sale. Kinda defeats the purpose for using Vendio? Was kinda hoping that this customer might browse my Vendio store. Also, customer got so fed up with not being able to checkout for 2 hours....I haven't heard back from her after finally invoicing her through eBay.

This is an ongoing issue that I have complained about many times. Almost daily, I have a customer complain that they can't checkout and PAY - because Vendio is not recognizing their email address. And it is because Vendio has not recognized the sale. There is a big latency on Vendio's end.

For example, I closed a store item of mine on Saturday early afternoon. On Sunday - almost 24 hours later - I went to adjust my inventory amounts on this item - and it still showed as having it listed. I had to go and refresh my active items to get it to drop to closed. Now there is just not something right there.

This is a very important issue, and I see it complained about - by not only me - but other customers. I am hoping Vendio is doing something about it - but I have not seen any action taken on it!!

I thought that I would just share an email that I received from one of my ticked off customers today:

i have tried a dozen times to pay for these shelves.... it will not accept my user id... so if you can accept a paypal payment the normal way i will send it.

If this problem cannot be fixed, I'm going to have to find another listing service. After I tell them that they must use my checkout, Vendio doesn't even know that the auction has ended! What is the point of pizzing off my customers?

Hello everyone,

We have been working on a checkout revamp project that will be released shortly, which will reduce our dependency on eBay notifications and will improve the latency in post-sale actions for FP/Dutch and BIN items. We realize performance in this area has not been optimal, and we will do our best to make sure that your buyers are able to check out as smoothly as possible.

Thanks for your patience!

Diana

Thank you for your response Diana.

Just thought I'd post another customer email that I got yesterday.

I went to the checkout and it did not accept my address? I put my email address that I put on ebay. What should I do now?

I told her to just skip my checkout (nah...I didn't want to sell her anything out of my store anyway) and I'd send her a paypal invoice.

And, the beat goes on........

As of today, 2/12/05, I'm still having to manual checkoff when a customer leaves feedback for me.

Hello,

Do you have any item numbers you can provide us with? Since you are still having this issue I'd like to take a look at your items and log a bug if necessary.

Regards,

Sonya

This is one for today. I had already checked off manually on the other one. I'm sure that eventually it will check off on it's own..

Hello,

Thanks for the sample -- I see it now. It looks like it was left for you around 2pm today. For this item, please don't mark off step 9 yet so I can see if it marks itself off on its own. I am not aware of any delays with this. Do you have any others that don't have step 9 marked off?

Regards,

Sonya

Thank you for your response.

That's the only one "today".

I received a paypal payment on another item and it is not showing as logged into my Vendio either. This was for 2 store items, combined. I have checked my Paypal account and payment was received almost 2 hours ago.

Hello,

What are the item numbers for these store items? I have forwarded your feedback example to one of our engineers.

This is the item #'s for those.

However, I was paid via paypal last night @ 10:00 for this item 5553464705 and that has yet to check off in my post sale.

This is making it very difficult for me to depend on my post sale management. Plus, since post sale doesn't know that I have received paypal payments, if it is a buyer who doesn't use my checkout, the customers address doesn't show up in post sale.

I will have to check this one off manually, so that I can remember that she has paid. But, I won't do it until later today if you want to look at it.

Thank you for working with me on clearing up these problems.

vendoio sucks, it took me half an hour to get through

That is the latest comment I have received on the delay in items moving to post sale. If you would like to see the comment - look at item 4358061055 in my post sale - that sold yesterday. And look at the comments section.

Also, the paypal payment did not automatically enter, I will have to do it myself, no biggie, but it is not working correctly.

Hi everybody,

We are aware of a problem with the Paypal IPN which is resulting in payments not being recorded. We believe the problem is on their side as they are returning errors to us, however, we are in the process of investigating the issue and will work with them to resolve it.

For the problem with FP/BIN items not being recognized as closed, the new checkout revamp should help with this as it will reduce our dependency on eBay notifications. This will be released shortly, and you should see a significant reduction in complaints about this problem after the release. Thank you for your patience, do we realize it is inconvenient to have to refresh your active items to get them into closed.

Best regards,

Diana
