I would like to keep track of what is in my ebay store, and make it easier to re-list to the store with gallery pictures but not use gallery in my regular listings.
My idea was to copy all of my listings into a separate folder called "store", and then take the gallery off my existing inventory items. The questions I have are:
1. When I copy them they all say "copy of (insert actual title here)". Do I have to remove the "copy of" words? I don't want that to be part of the actual title (obviously).
2. Will this create 2 Vendio store listings of the same item?
3. It will differentiate in the inventory what has sold in the store and what has sold in the auctions that way, won't it?

1. Yes you will have to remove the "copy of". And you will have to go into each one and edit it. All the info will not be copied, such as quantity available.
2. Yes, it will create 2 Vendio store listings. There is a box to check or uncheck where you put in the store category. Uncheck it and the item will not show in the Vendio store.
3. Yes, it will be as though they are two different items. You could also add the letter S or some other character on the item number in case Vendio adds the reports we have been asking for.

Thanks Debbie - that makes sense. I wonder if there's an easier way to do it, but I don't want gallery or or buy it now in my auctions anymore and I don't want to have to edit 1000 items everytime I have to relist them to the Ebay store.

Since they first came out with IE, I have been asking them to change the way the gallery is set up. I would like to choose the gallery picture in the same place as the other pictures and just have an on and off button where it is now.
You would still have to edit them to do that but at least you wouldn't have to attach the picture again.
Maybe they will change it now that eBay has changed the pricing and so many people don't want the gallery on their auction anymore.
