there is a box - marked visible under vendio store catagory......i removed checkmark - presumably removing its visibility in my vendio store (ONE FOLDER I WANT TO KEEP OUT OF THE STORE BUT HAVE IN INVENTORY) but those items are still showing up in vendio store....so what is that box for????

Hello,
The visible/non visible box is for Vendio Stores. If you removed the checkmark and saved your changes, it could possibly take up to a couple hours to update your store with the removal of the item. What item was it?

its an entire folder Tias....i have a lot of corrections and shipping is different for each item so i need time to adjust.......
do have a ? on the shipping designation....as i am updating the inventory on that now...(i.e. colored icons etc)
why wouldn't the program just simply pick up on the global and site preferences? instead of having to reset each time? just curious
the smie is a time saver in the initial....
i take it that this is a beta version and when you have it all spiffy are there any plans to charging a fee for it (i hope not after all the work being done into it )

ok - it's the am and all of those items in the not visible folder i mentioned last night are still in my vendio store.... could you check on it....please..? thanx

Hi CJ,
Engineering has fixed your store, as you already know.
Did you switch back and forth between SMME and SMIE, or do you do your listings from SMPro?

i am working totally from smie....will go back to regular to pick up the 100 or so pendings i left behind - relist them and then import them as store items into smie then i am finished with old set up..... but that won't be until nw...

i think what i did wrong in visible and not visible is that i changed all quantities to 0 thinking it would remove them from vendio store...so yesterday i changed all quantities in that folder to 1 and then removed visible checkmark....i wasn't sure whether techs had made adjustments in my store or that this change had corrected it....
i am now in process of breaking that folder down into catagories and then will make adjustments so it will show properly....

i think smie program is great and just hope YOU DON"T CHARGE for it later ...(hehe hehe)

Hi CJ,
The problem occurred due to switching back and forth from SMIE to SMME. SMIE was not intended to be used in such a way where you switch back and forth -- it will cause Quantity on Market to break, as well as various problems such as the visible/non-visible issue with store items. We strongly recommend that you do not switch back and forth and that you stick to SMIE as it takes quite a bit of time to fix.
Is there any way you would be able to not go back to SMME? Did you have a lot left? We are sorry for all the trouble.

i had pended some listings planning on doing them sometime after my current listings close.....i think at least 100 of them....they may be items not currently in my inventory...sort of an update from bringing them over from half.com which i have closed.....i thought that they would transfer when i switched to smie but they didn't - but if it messes up what i have done here...i will stay with smie....it has the bulk change features that i was looking for (as i want to be able to do them online when i travel) most likely will not be using the bulk loader unless i transfer other items from my other sites in csv format...when it is enabled in smie.....
