OK i'm going around in circles here and I know it's not me...
re: having ebay icons show up in full color in my folders

since 6 this am i have been redoing according to your instructions ...i.e. go into site specifics and change shipping inst....also revised (bulk) shipping info in next tab and made sure that zip was included)
saved----folder a (3 00+ and folder b complete)
double checked all icons in full color....

continued to a couple other folders
listed 8 ebay store items (textbook folder) to make sure all worked and then went to folder C.....
i have tried the process 3 times on folder C bulk change etc....and THE ICONS STILL ARE NOT FULL COLOR MEANING I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LAUNCH....
also after saved....page reverted to file B and i see NOW several have reverted to non colored icons.....

something is wrong with the software...i have shifted and refreshed several times and icon still won't come up right....

can you do something about this...it represents 3000 items and i am getting tired of constantly having to go back and redo...

incidentally i HAD done the shipping bulk change on ALL of them yesterday..some just didn't register....why is that...??
HELP

UPDATE....FINALLY GOT C FOLDER CLEAR NOW UP TO F FOLDER.../

Hello,

Please let us know the name of a specific item we can take a look at that is giving you problems. I was in your account and you've got 3000 items and what I see looks okay so it will be easier if we work on one of the items you are having trouble with. One thing to know, if you don't have the gavel icon colored (signifying something isn't right) you can usually find out what it is by attempting to launch it because SMIE will kick it back and highlight whatever is causing the problem in red.

Sonya

Hi CJ,

I just posted an update to your other thread.

If you are still having issues where your bulk changes aren't applying, please let us know what exactly you changed and some sample items where you want it changed, that you wouldn't mind us testing on. We'd need to actually test this ourselves on your items to see it in action.

Regards,

Sonya

thanx on the other post....i am working on the folders as i don't want to give folder specifics here.....but i have noticed (and i initially didn't want to do ebay checkout) that when i do no ebay checkout choice - the icons don't light up and i can't launch...so obviously it doesn't work unless i DO ebay checkout......my primary set up is that i have put a global description - global shipping and payment, and site info in the my account section but it just doesn't go through to the inventory - it appears that i have to manually include all of these set ups on item by item (even if it is bulk) and some of the selections ie shipping and checkout in the smie program should pick up from the global set up this would eliminate a need to do it item by item......
the smie is great but it seems that more is put into it than is needed and there are more selections than needed if you use the global and site elements.....
