There are 2 issues I have in creating listings.
1) I have just set up a number of my inventory items. I would like to be able to use different descriptions for the auction listing and the store listing. For example, I may have on an auction "Can't wait for the auction to end, click here to BUY it Now" or "need more visit the store".
It seems to me that you can only have one listing description for each inventory item.
2) I want to be able to list an item in multiple categories. Some items, I would like to have in 5 or six categories and schedule them on a regular basis. I do not want additional categories to be scheduled at the same time.
For both issues it seems I need to create a listing for each variation. The to me seems to start to defeat the purpose of being able to manage inventory. Even now, I still have to keep track of the entire amount of an item since I package in different quantities.
If you would like to have different descriptions for the store and auction items, we recommend that you copy the item and set one item as auction, and one as store.
IF you want to have your item list in multiple categories and you don't want to change the category manually, you'll need to create an item for each category. Unfortunately there is no way around that.
