Is there a way to change over to the new platform without actually having to enter each store item individually?
I see an option to import a CSV file on the new platform, but can't figure out to export the items from the old platform.
While there is no automatic migration tool yet available, there is a way to import your data over into a new account. If you already have an account on the new platform, your halfway there.
The process for you, because of the specific version of the tools your using currently, would be as follows:
1. Convert from Merchandising Edition of the Sales Manager to the Inventory Edition (you don't have to leave it this way, but for this we'll need to switch it for now.)
2. Once converted from SMME to SMIE, run the importer to convert everything in your old inventory (your store items) into SMIE inventory items.
3. Once the import is completed, use the 'CSV Export' link at the top of the SMIE inventory page and choose 'Vendio Platform' for the file type format.
4. Log into your account on the new platform and opt to import from a CSV file (the one you exported will already be formatted exactly for this layout.)
If you would like to do this, and because it could be a little tricky, let us know and I can run through this process for you and email you a copy of the CSV file ready to import.

Wow. Thank you very much Chris - your help would be most appreciated.
We do already have an account on the new platform. It's under the username "microwaveglasstrays". Please let me know what you might need from me to assist in the migration.
Oh - one more question - will the old platform still be available for us to use until we're 100% ready to completely change over?
