I followed all the steps for setting up my amazon account through vendio. I have had about 10 sales but the items quantities never change in vendio nor does it record the sale.

Can a rep please let me know what i'm doing wrong and maybe correct it for me.

Hello,

It sounds like you have already sent the message to Amazon that is outlined in step 3 of the Orders Preferences page (under Amazon Market ID). However, Amazon will need to make this change before the order information can be properly captured. Have you received a reply from them yet that verifies this change has been made?

Thank you for writing in with your concern.

Pro Merchant subscribers can make use of our inventory reporting functionality. This feature allows sellers on Amazon Marketplace to download data about their orders as well as their listings. The information below will guide you through the steps to request and retrieve Order Fulfillment reports.

Here are the steps for requesting and retrieving inventory reports through your seller account.

Request the report
------------------

1. In the Manage Your Orders section, click on the “Order Reports” link.

2. From the "Select Days" drop-down menu, choose the report you need and then click the "Request Report" button. You’ll have the option to choose 1, 2, 7, 15, 30 or 60 days.


Pick up the report
------------------

Depending on the size of your report, it can take from a few minutes to a few hours to process. If you've added your e-mail address to the “Notification Preferences” in the Settings area, you should receive a notification e-mail once the report is available.

1. In the Manage Your Orders section, click on the “Order Reports” link.

2. If your report shows as "Ready" in the "Report Status" column, click the Download button. The report will be in .txt (tab-delimited) file format. Here select it as XML format from the drop-down menu.

3. We recommend saving the downloaded report to your computer.

Note: One of the options on the “Order Reports” page is to schedule order reports to run on a regular basis every 4, 8 or Daily (every 24 hours). If you choose this option, you will still need to log into your reports page to retrieve reports.

Hello,

Thank you for the additional information. Please reply to the message from Amazon and ask them what you need to do in order to have your order information transmitted to Vendio in XML format so that Vendio can receive information about your orders. It sounds like Amazon may have misunderstood the request.

Received this response from amazon:

Dear Seller,

Thank you for writing to us with your concern.

Though you can download order and settlement reports from your seller account, we are not able to transmit that information in XML format. I'm sorry for any disappointment this causes.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.

Hello,

I am sorry for the trouble you are having getting Amazon to send the information in XML format. Please reply to them again, and clarify that you need to know from them what you need to do so that they can transmit the information in XML format. Try to get them to let you know what needs to change so that this can happen. Please let us know the results.
