When I create an item, there are things that I need to select every time: like the ebay template and counters. I select the same thing every time - is there any way to have defaults set in the create item form so that I don't have to select these every time?

Also the policy profile comes up as Default Example Profile. Is there a way to make the profile come up to another profile or a way to change or delete the Default Example Policy?

Hello,

At this moment the templates aren't default-able, but you can use the 'recently used templates' menu option here to more quickly find the one you normally use. Unfortunately the counters tool doesn't have this recently used option, at this time.

For the policy profile, you can delete it, but there are item/s that are using that default one currently. Note that you could use the find and replace tool in your My Items page to bulk change all of your items to use your other policy profile instead so that you can then delete the default.

Chris

Thanks. I tried deleting the Default Example Profile, but I get an error message:
# Could not delete profile for type policy having name Default Example Policies since it a Default Business Policy Profile.

I did manage to edit the Default Example Profile, which achieves the desired result for me. I had tried that unsuccessfully before (not sure why) so I thought that it was not changeable.

Thanks for the find and replace tip - I had not tried that feature yet - it is a powerful tool.

Hello,

Once you have no items setup to use that default profile, you will be able to delete it. Chances are it's one of the first items you made, but that is why I mentioned bulk editing that profile. Once no items are using it, you should be able to delete it without that error message (or like you said, just change it to have the same values.)

Regards,
Chris
