I have been trying to figure out how to use Vendio for a few weeks now. Today I spent all day trying to get ONE ad to launch to eBay. So the sum total of my experience, after three weeks has gotten me to the point where I still do not understand all the idiosyncracies of Vendio. Guess I'm dumb.
My latest problem concerns this error message which I recieve when I try to launch an ad to my eBay store.
"The ad "metronome allstars" for SKU "Vendio - 1247501068171" is not ready for eBay - Please specify a Stores Price that is greater than 0." WHY DO I HAVE TO SPECIFY A STORES PRICE? THIS ISN'T A FIXED PRICE AD, IT IS AN AUCTION, I DO NOT WANT IT SHOWING UP ANYWHERE WITH A "PRICE" JUST A STARTING BID. Thanks
In the eBay ad info section, change the 'eBay site' from 'eBay store' back to the default option labeled 'eBay US' - so the system doesn't care if you entered a store price or not.
If you leave the eBay site field set as 'eBay store' - then you will need to provide a store price for eBay to use.
Let us know if you have any additional questions regarding this.

It is taking me a while to get the hang of this too. Right now I am selling only on ebay, so I am used to thinking about things in ebays way. I am guessing that you are too. Because Vendio supports multiple marketplaces, it has a lot of options that are not applicable to ebay, but probably more important, it has a structure that is more complicated because it must map to multiple markets.
My first listing took a few days to get posted, but now that I have the hang of things (and have a few profiles set up), I can create an item and list it in about 15 minutes.
The more you get used to those little 'gear' icons in the upper right hand corner of the listing pages you can also disable all of the fields you don't need - speeding up the listing process even more.
Then anytime your listing an item that is similar to another you made previously, just select it from the items page and click to copy it - make a few changes and save it as well - you should be able to rip through listings in as much time as it takes to compose the item description going forward.

Thanks for the response, I must say Vendio's Community is very responsive, answers are usually right on and quick. Back to my original issue, if I create an ad in eBay, not using Vendio, and I want it to go into my eBay store, eBay does not require me to put a fixed price on that ad, right? So why does Vendio require it? Thanks
Anything you list to eBay as a auction item will go into your eBay storefront automatically, so if your goal is to list an auction item to eBay and have it show up in your store - then make the change as shown above and set the site to 'eBay US' instead of 'eBay store.'
If you wanted to list it as an eBay storefront item specifically, then you have to set a store price for it because as you know storefront items don't have bids - they are fixed price.
It all just depends on how you have the above setting setup on your item - if its setup to be a storefront specific item, then it needs a price, otherwise if it's just an auction item and you have it set properly to 'eBay US' as the site, then no fixed price is required.
