The PDF on Ebay Templates available in the Help section says - "Ebay templates can be accessed directly from the create items form.."
However, there is no such option available.
On the templates page, I'm able to see all the templates available. Yet there seems to be no way of actually selecting one to use. The available options are limited to "Delete" (delete what?) and "Create New", which leads to a page for creating an unrelated, new template.
If, at some point, I can also figure out how to get the Vendio CSV template to retain the images I add to it, I'd really like to to get some listings ready for Ebay. I've got about one week to do this and can't spend endless days decyphering Vendio's eccentricities.
I'd be grateful for any help in getting this accomplished.
When you are on the create items page, go to the eBay Ad info section where you would pick a template to go with your eBay item - then go to the section labeled 'Layout Theme and Counters' as seen here:
Under the layouts, pick a layout for your images other than the one marked 'Your own HTML' (otherwise it won't show any of your attached images, assuming you have embedded your images using HTML code into your item description field.)
Next, under Theme's pick a template - once you pick a template you will have a number of versions of that template that you can choose from just below it.
In the screenshot shown above, taken from one of your own items in your account, you will see it is using the Jewelry and Watches template and that the first version of this template is the one that is selected (this is the first style and version, which is why you see it here already).
If you have any trouble with the above steps, please let us know.
I think your second question about getting the template to retain the images you add to it is addressed in the above - by picking a layout other than 'your own HTML' but if your done with the above and still having trouble with that second part, please clarify for us so we can help.
