I've been trying to, but have a current hurdle/dilemma:
I cannot distribute item because all my categories aren't mapped, but I cannot map the main categories because vendio doesn't have a similar corresponding category.
I was able to map subcategories, but not main categories.
I meticulously spent many hours revising my store categories to fit shopzillas as best as I could according to the products I'll eventually list.
Feel free to look at my store at
http://www.vendio.com/stores/soulstouchgifts
to see what I mean...all the categories on the left are main categories...I was able to map the subcategories under them, but not the main categories. And vendio won't let me proceed in distributing them without main categories mapped.
The only thing I can think of to do would be to get rid of main categories, but then it would be difficult for someone to browse my store...I'm hoping there's another way, and that someone would assist me or point me in the right direction???

Hello,
If a category has a subcategory to it, then there are no products in that specific category itself - rather the subcategory the item is listed to.
That said, can you map the primary categories to one of the categories you mapped your subcategories to?
You have the actual categories with products in them mapped properly, this last step is just a form requirement now and shouldn't have any effect on the items themselves.
(it looks like you have an email into us about this as well, and we'll use that to followup on tracking the enhancement request needed to get full primary category support - for mapping these in the future.)
