I had been listing on just one ebay account through vendio. Now I am trying to list some of my items on my other ebay account to take advantage of the free auction listing sale that ebay is offering to non-store accounts.

I went to Preferences->Channels and added a new ebay account and went through the authorization process. That was successful and it shows both my ebay accounts and the token status as valid.

Then I started working on some items that I want to set up an auction on my second account.

I went to the ebay info section and clicked new ad and set up a new ad and selected the other ebay account for the ad. (example SKU is Vendio - 1269654669324). When I click Preview eBay Listing button, I get a pop up error message box that says: We're sorry, but before you list an item, you must create a seller's account by submitting a valid credit card through our secure form.

Hello,

This is an eBay error message that eBay is returning in regards to your eBay ID. Please add a credit card to your eBay account, which should correct the problem. If you are unable to locate the exact changes that eBay requires, please try starting the process of creating a test listing directly through eBay (you should receive a similar error with more specific instructions on how to correct it).

Regards,
Nathan

That worked. Thanks.

But now I have another problem. I just sent an item to ebay. SKU is Vendio - 1247424884464, ebay ad name is Johninor. Just before listing, I went into edit item and verified that the ebay account in the ebay ad was correct. I sent it to ebay (from the my items list, expanded it and selected the Johninor ad and clicked send to. The next box had ebay checked and the ebay market profile as current profile. I clicked OK).

It was sent to the wrong ebay account. I go into the edit item page again and the ebay account in the ad has reverted to my default ebay account.

I have another item ready to launch that I think I set up in the exact same way. It is SKU 1955976960 and the ebay ad name is johninor. I'll wait so that you can look at it before it is launched.

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion. The "Send To" button works a bit differently from launching the listings from the inventory items directly. After clicking "Send To" and then "OK", on the next page (the main page with details that can be changed) you will need to select the correct eBay ID from the drop-down box at the top of the page. Your other eBay ID is set as the default eBay ID, so it shows up as the default. In order to correct this problem for your future listings, please be sure to select the correct eBay ID from that drop-down box.

Regards,
Nathan

Oh - I didn't even notice that box on that page. That worked. That actually makes it easier than doing it in the ebay ad since I can use the same ad for different accounts. Thanks for the help.
