Hello Roger,

Could you please provide the name of a specific item where you are having this problem? Please also let us know the exact steps you are taking to enter the description into the item (specifically whether you are using the description section in the "Item Info" section of the form or in the "eBay Info" section of the form). Also, when you preview the item in Vendio prior to launching, does the description show up at that point?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello Roger,

Google Chrome is probably not causing the problem (although Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox are more recommended). Please try entering the description into the description field that is in the "Item Info" section, rather than in the "eBay Info" section. When you enter information into the description field in the "Item Info" section it is automatically copied down to the description field in the "eBay Info" section. The main purpose of the description field in the "eBay Info" section is if you need a different description for your eBay listings than for your Vendio Store items.

While I'm not sure exactly what happened, my best guess is that it had to do with the linking option. The description field in the "eBay Info" section is linked to the description field in the "Item Info" section. There is an icon that looks like two links to a chain, which can be used to break the link between the two description fields. The icon would need to be clicked before you could enter information into the "eBay Info" description field. So if by chance you did not click that icon prior to copying the text into the description field, it would not have saved. Also, if you by chance clicked the icon to break the link, then entered in the description text, and then re-clicked the icon, the link between the two sections would be reinstated (and the blank description section in "Item Info" would overwrite the description you entered into the "eBay Info" section.

In short, please try entering the description into the "Item Info" description field, and let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello Roger,

I am sorry for the trouble that you have had with this, but I am glad that it is working for you now. I have passed along the information of what happened to our engineers and asked them to take a look.
