Hu Guys, haven't bothered you for a long time. As I don't want you to get too complacent I have a strange little problem that I could use your advice on.
I have two computers. An older Dell with Windows XP. Also an Apple Macbook. I was just listing some items for later launch and noticed that on my Dell even though the Antique Lace on Blue template is listed it doesn't show up on the auction page. Just shows a white border all the way around the auction. The correct template does show on the Macbook though. So, was just curious why it doesn't show on the Dell. Your thoughts please. Thanks, Steve

Hello Steve,
Where are you going to view it that your not seeing it exactly? On the create listing page, the custom templates page or on the live eBay listing itself?
Try also checking it from within Internet Explorer (on the same computer) and see if it displays ok for you then.

Hi, actually I was just checking on listed auctions, that will go on 9/05. Just wanted to make sure all my pricing and photos looked good as I haven't listed during the summer slow months. Wanted yo make sure all looked good.Steve
I took a look at all of your scheduled listings on my XP machine (using both Firefox and Internet Explorer), but I was able to see the blue antique lace border showing correctly. It is likely that once the listings are active they will appear correctly. However, you might want to launch one test listing with the template now, just to make sure (before the scheduled listings launch).

Hi Nathan, you are most probably right. I am sure that if it shows on my Macbook then all is ok and it will show on my Windows XP computer also. I think there is no need to bother with a test auction. Actually I don't even know how to do a test auction. Thanks, Steve

Of note with such issues... Firefox sometimes has problems with the cache clearing proper with images that are the same size. Understandable. For example, if I have a image of a green ball, its say 1K names "meow.gif" I take that green ball and now make it a red ball still called "meow.gif", the browser has no idea I changed the color and happily displays the green one from the file cache until it's automagically expired or a refresh is forced from the resultant page.
