This rustic yet graceful piece is made of the same mix of urban Aurora Colorado needles mentioned in the description of the small pine needle basket, Gestation.  In this larger basket, Harvest concentrates more on natural decorative whimsy and form, working with one of her grandmother’s favorite  notions about  “ . . . pulling the circle out of the chaos.”   Here that is expressed by allowing a chaos of pine needles to decorate the basket while containing them in concentric and spiraling circles.  This warm and  an intimate basket is just waiting to cradle a few small treasures while it reminds you that your real work is about pulling the circle out of the chaos.  2.15.10  Measures  roughly 3.5" across.
