Cleansing herbal shampoo promotes healthy skin in dogs.
Ditch the dirt
Most dogs are perfectly happy when their skin and fur are well coated with their natural scents and oils. However, excess dirt can be uncomfortable
for your dog and actually cause itching. It also may attract unwanted
pests so bathing is best. Be careful not to over-wash, as this will
strip the coat of natural oils. Most dogs should be bathed once every two months.
Your vet will give you advice on treatment plans to help prevent
problems caused by pests, and on how to bath your pet as well as help
you set the best bathing schedule, some breeds may have sensitive skin
and require less bathing.
The natural way
There is a lot that can be done naturally to help keep your pet’s hair and skin clear.
It is always a good idea to brush your pet thoroughly daily, as this
will help remove dirt and help spread natural oils throughout the coat
(it also prevents nasty tangles from forming). An easy way to keep dogs
clean is to dust their coats with a mixture of cornstarch and baby
powder, and brush it through, as the powder readily ‘soaks up’ skin
oils and helps eliminate the usual "doggy" smell. For longer-lasting
fresh smelling coats, a natural shampoo or spray can be used.

the trick nicely. They smell wonderful afterwards, and don’t seem to
mind it at all! We can tell that it’s really gentle, but still works.”

“Manage Mites Shampoo
works wonderfully. I have three poodles that once in a while manage to

its astringent properties. It has been researched for its ability
to support skin health (Patrascu V, Chebac PI. "Favorable therapeutic results in cutaneous porphyria obtained with Agrimonia eupatoria".

member of the lily family, which also includes hyacinth, tulip, onion,
leek, and chives. It has also been studied for its possible ability
to discourage pests and promote healthy skin (Ankri S, Mirelman

researched for its ability to support healthy flora on the skin
(Juteau, F., Jerkovic, I., Masotti, V., Milos, M., Mastelic, J.,

- Niaoli essential oil is derived from the
evergreen tree with pointed leaves and spiky long yellow flowers.
The leaves of the evergreen are extremely fragrant when crushed.

to contain up to 75-85% citral components. It has been studied for
its ability to support cleansing (El Kamali, H. H., Hamza, M. A.,
