About Us

The PTO Online store is a place for PTO to make available special resources for members and others to purchase--generally special DVDs designed for studying and teaching Augusto Boal's methods of working in Theatre of the Oppressed, but also other PTO-related items from time to time. All items sell at prices meant only to recoup the costs of making them available in the first place. PTO is a not-for-profit (IRS 501C3) organization with the mission to challenge oppressive systems by promoting critical thinking and social justice. We organize an annual meeting that focuses on the work of liberatory educators, activists, and artists; and community organizers.
