And NOW JUST A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My Name is Charlie,

And I have been collecting since the age of 8yrs old, Throught out my life I've had to start over and over again and again rebuilding my collection, It (collecting sportscards) is fun for me and I believe it should be fun for everyone else aswell!.

Recently over the past 5yrs I Found myself without a job,homeless living behind a dumpster,and eating my meals out of the same dumpster!. It was absolutly noway to live,

I've battled with alcholisim for many years!

finally I had had enough!

I entered AA (alcoholics anonymos) on July 1st 2009,

and within a matter of months my life had taken a path that has kept me off the streets, working full-time,living in a beautiful home,and without a drink for over a year NOW!

That my friends in a miracle!!

while living on the streets there were people,and churches that would come by from time to time and give out calling cards to call family, and bus passes if we wanted to get around without walking or maybe for some, to go look for work.

Well after I got sober, I started my collection again, But this time for some reason it wasn't asmuch fun as prior times.

I had the friends I had left behind on the street, weighing on my heart, So I came up with the idea of making my own Packs of sportscards, (I figuered everyone likes to open packs) and everyone has a favorite player!.

So All-Star Player Packs was born, I took $1,000 of my own money and started buying lots and collection to build my packs,

as of TODAY 09/16/2010 I still have that same $1,000 I started with, I use all the profits from selling My packs to purchase things for the homeless,

I buy phone cards,bus passes,socks, hygenie products, etc.

I do this on my own rather than donating the money to some org, that I have no idea where the funds will go,
